The Epic 48 is Banshee’s high quality yet low-priced entry model Bansheeboard. Banshee’s R&D team pulled out all the stops in designing a quality entry level board that is durable yet affordable for the beginning Bansheeboarder. With its wood core and hardened rails the Epic 48 is nearly indestructible, yet lightweight and easy to ride. With the HP bungee system this board will pull riders upriver at speeds over 30 miles an hour. Simply anchor one end of the Bungee off to any secure point in the river, on shore. Areas on the river with a current waist deep and difficult to stand in will work great. Hook one end of the board to the Bungee with Banshee’s patented release system, and force the board under water to catch the current and push you downstream. Once the Bungee is stretched out all the way allow the board to come to the surface and ride up river.
